D'Evenement gouf am Kader vun der Journée internationale des personnes âgées organiséiert.

En Highlight vun dëser Editioun war d'Iwwerreechung vun engem Don vun 1.000 € un d'Association d’Aide aux Personnes Épileptiques (AAPE). Mat dësem Geste gouf d'Engagement fir eng wichteg Saach ënnerstrach an d'Solidaritéit mat betraffene Persounen ënnerstëtzt.

On Sunday, 18 October 2026, the Municipality of Steinfort, together with the advisory Family and Seniors Commission, welcomed many senior residents to the Keeseminnen cultural centre for its traditional Autumn Gathering, organised as part of the International Day of Older Persons.
Participants enjoyed a warm and welcoming atmosphere over a delicious meal and friendly conversations, accompanied by musical entertainment from Wa-Ta Touille. The dance floor quickly filled up, reflecting the enjoyment and sense of community that characterised the event.
This year’s event also saw the presentation of a donation of €1,000 to the Association for the Support of People with Epilepsy (AAPE), demonstrating the community’s commitment and solidarity with an important cause.
A big thank you to all the participants, the members of the Family and Seniors Commission, the volunteers, and everyone else who contributed to making this event such a success.
