Lundi dernier, une soixantaine de représentant·e·s d'associations et de citoyen·ne·s intéressé·e·s ont assisté à la soirée d'information consacrée au bénévolat, organisée dans le cadre du « Gemengepakt ».

Suite à une enquête menée auprès des associations et à deux ateliers citoyens organisés en 2025, l'échevin Guy Erpelding a présenté les résultats de cette démarche participative. Sur cette base, la commune a créé, en collaboration avec l'Agence du Bénévolat, une page dédiée sur la plateforme benevolat.lu. Lors de la soirée, la représentante de l'Agence du bénévolat a présenté les services et soutiens proposés aux bénévoles et aux associations.

Par ailleurs, la commune a élaboré un guide pratique (en luxembourgeois, français et anglais) pour accompagner et soutenir les associations dans l'accueil et l'encadrement des bénévoles. À l'avenir, les associations pourront également emprunter deux roll-ups (en luxembourgeois et en français) sur lesquels est inscrit le message « Donne un coup de main — deviens bénévole », accompagnés de courts messages mettant en avant l'encadrement proposé aux bénévoles.

Message clé de la soirée : s'engager bénévolement, c'est avant tout du temps de qualité.

Around sixty representatives of local organisations and interested members of the public attended an information evening on volunteering last Monday, organised as part of the ‘Gemengepakt’.

Following a survey of associations and two public workshops in 2025, Councillor Guy Erpelding presented the results of this participatory process. Based on these results, the municipality has created a dedicated page on the benevolat.lu platform in collaboration with the Agence du Bénévolat. During the event, a representative from the Agence du Bénévolat presented the services and support available to volunteers and associations.

The municipality has also produced a practical guide (in LU, FR and EN) to help associations welcome and supervise volunteers. In future, associations will also be able to borrow two roll-ups bearing the message 'Lend a hand — become a volunteer' in LU and FR, accompanied by short messages highlighting the support available to volunteers.

The key message of the evening was that volunteering is, above all, about spending quality time.
