Op 4 Dëscher gouf zu follgende Sujeten diskutéiert: „Urban birds“, „Certified wildlife gardens“, „Citizen science“, „Participatory gardening in public green space“. Et koume ganz vill Iddien zesummen an et hunn sech uschléissend och direkt 2 Gruppementer gebilt déi weider wëllen dru schaffe fir souwuel op ëffentlech Gréngfläche wéi och bei de Privatleit méi Biodiversitéit z’encouragéieren a konkret Projeten ëmzesetzen.

Dans le cadre du Pacte Climat, la commune de Steinfort a organisé cette année son assise citoyenne en collaboration avec une habitante, Kasia Krzyzanowski, sur le thème « Soutenons ensemble la faune sauvage et la biodiversité dans nos espaces verts ». Plus de 30 concitoyen·ne·s se sont rendu·e·s au centre culturel Al Schmelz pour échanger des idées sur divers sujets avec des expert·e·s de CELL, natur&ëmwelt, du Musée d'histoire naturelle et de notre service écologique.

Quatre tables rondes ont permis d’aborder les thèmes suivants : « Les oiseaux urbains », « Les jardins certifiés pour la faune sauvage », « La science citoyenne » et « Le jardinage participatif dans les espaces verts publics ». De nombreuses idées ont émergé et deux groupes se sont immédiatement formés, qui souhaitent poursuivre leur travail pour favoriser la biodiversité et mettre en œuvre des projets concrets tant dans les espaces verts publics que dans les jardins privés.

As part of the Climate Pact, the municipality of Steinfort organised its citizens’ forum this year together with a resident, Kasia Krzyzanowski, on the topic “Let’s work together to support wildlife and biodiversity in green spaces.” Over 30 residents found their way to the Al Schmelz cultural centre to work out ideas on various topics with experts from CELL, natur&ëmwelt, the Natural History Museum, and our ecological service.

At 4 round tables, the following topics were discussed: “Urban Birds,” “Certified Wildlife Gardens,” “Citizen Science,” and “Participatory Gardening in Public Green Space.” A wealth of ideas emerged, and two groups immediately formed to continue working on encouraging more biodiversity and implementing concrete projects in both public green spaces and private gardens.
